    How long does it take to get the bridge visa?

    If you have received your AOR and have applied for the BOWP before the expiry of your work permit, you are on implied status. So you are legally allowed to work until a decision has been made on your work permit.

    :O Make sure you apply for an Open work permit. If you're applying electronically, answer "Yes" to the question, "Have you received approval in principle" to your permanent residence application. (even if you're trying for the BOWP before you receive your AOR). I clicked no for this part =/...

    For now, i think you just need to send in yours. Later during the process they will request the PCC if needed for your husband. Doesn't matter how crazy your hours are, it will still be calculated to 37.5hr/week. The min requirement if I am right for the year 2013 is 30hrs/week. Regards,
