Hi everybody,

Long story short I talked to my managing director and she said she would support me in any way imaginable for my to qualify for CEC and get my PR. :D

What are my next steps? I am about to book my IELTS. I have already started the process to get my PCC from my home country.
Where in Toronto can I get my PCC for me and my husband?

I also have a question about paystubs. How many should I submit? For some reason I don't want to submit all of them, I know they are optional and everything but is it OK for me to submit just a few?

T4s and NOA. I know I am supposed to submit those, my question is how determinant are they? What are they for? Just to confirm that you were legally employed in Canada and that's it? My 12 months CEC experience started last May but my NOA and T4 are for the whole 2012...

Thank you for your help and sorry for so many questions. I am just too excited I got approval from my manager...

Depends on which country you from?

If you mean Canadian PCC.. Then your husband dont need that

I also have a question about paystubs. How many should I submit? For some reason I don't want to submit all of them, I know they are optional and everything but is it OK for me to submit just a few?
Yes, They are optional for 2012, as the T4 and NOA covers your Pay and you have to mention the same in your Reference Letter.

For the Paystubs from Jan2013 - present.....they are compulsury .. As they are only proof for your employment apart from reference letter.

Btw, howmany hrs you work in a week?

Yes

My husband is here with me in Canada are you sure he does not need Canadian PCC?
Well my NOA shows a LOT MORE than my reference letter states, because I work crazy overtime and it can be seen on my paystubs too. I usually have 10-18 hours of overtime every other paycheque.
Should I attach the letter of explanation as to why my NOA shows more than my annual income in my reference letter? The way I calculated my annual income was 44 hours(my regular hours every week) X 52 weeks X 19 dollars per hour. I didn't calculate any overtime because even though I have a lot of it, it is never guaranteed, it is overtime...

Are paystubs compulsory? Shoot I have most of them but some of them I lost, I would say I have 85 percent of my paystubs... :( Should letter of explanation be attached to explain I lost them?

I work 44 hours per week + overtime every other week

For now, i think you just need to send in yours. Later during the process they will request the PCC if needed for your husband.
Doesn't matter how crazy your hours are, it will still be calculated to 37.5hr/week.
The min requirement if I am right for the year 2013 is 30hrs/week.

If your husband is also in the application, then you need to provide his PCC with application, only exemption is RCMP( Canada's PCC).

Hope that helps

Yes not only from your home country but where ever ( countries only) you lived more or equal 6 continuous months then you need PCC from all those countries and if you are planning to leave country (Canada) while your application in process, it's better to provide RCMP from Canada, so that some hassle will be avoided in future.

First point - :)

Please spend some calm time reading every single text on the CIC page http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/5609ETOC.asp regarding PR under CEC.
Understand the points well so that you can make some informed decisions. This forum will surely help in answering many questions.

Coming to PCC

You need PCC from your home country and any other country where you lived for more than 6 months
your husband needs PCC from his home country and any other country where he lived for more than 6 months

Canada PCC (RCMP)

This is not mandatory for either your or your husband.
Personal experience, submit any way for you and your husband. Other members on the forum may differ with me.
Even if you cant submit , its not a mandatory requirement. CIC may later request one if they want.

Please note , PCC should not be more than 3 months old , on the day you submit your application. please take care of this

Not sure about current processing times for RCMP.
When i did , a year ago - it took 7-8 days for me to receive hard copies in my mail from the day my finger prints were submitted

Canadian PCC (RCMP clearance) is NOT required. For either of you.

Paystubs are not required. If you feel it is important, I would suggest submitting 2 - the last one for 2012 (assuming it shows cumulative, year-end information), as well as the most recent one.

T4s and NOA show 2 things - one, that you pay your taxes :) Second, they confirm the information provided in your employer's letter. Your employer's letter should indicate (among other details) your salary OR hourly wage and how many hours you work per week. If you frequently work overtime, it is enough to say in the letter "XX hours per week plus overtime."

It would be a bigger problem if the T4 earnings were lower than what you claim in terms of hours worked or wages. If your earnings are higher because of overtime worked, not a problem! But your employer letter should indicate that you routinely work overtime... (as well as, if you get paid time and a half or whatever for overtime).

Yes, you may want to explain that, just so that VO does come back saying...I'm not satisfied with the difference.....

But then, if that higher salary resulted due to over time hours, then I guess those extra hours will be reflected in your bi-weekly/monthly pay stubs? No?

I know many members here have suggested that pay stubs are not required and they right
How ever , in many cases your T4 shows salary higher than your ref letter from employer

The best way to fill that gap according to me is by providing the pay stubs...the pay stubs will show that there was overtime and hence the pay is high
I would personal include one year pay stubs...it wont in any way hurt your case
