I'm a US Citizen, living in Kolkata for the last 9 years. My spouse is Indian. We applied May 14th. I believe because we applied together it is taking a long time! My medical passed one day after I got it done, so I hope that happens for you too!

I did. We were told applying with spouse open work permit may take 10-16 weeks to get approved. We are currently at 14 weeks, applied May 14th. I've seen others apply after us and both get denied as well as the spouse has been denied and the study permit approved, but yet to see both get...

No. Non-SDS is processed in country. Mine is processing in Delhi.

My application has been processing in Delhi for 100 days now. It doesn't matter where it is. It could go fast. It could go slow.

It's better than not getting medical request and getting refused. Doesn't mean approval either. I'm not an Indian citizen living in India also, but I did do a medical upfront. Where are you from? I've seen people denied visas for immigration status in applying country. Hoping it doesn't happen...

Same here. Applied May 14th. Still processing.

Applied May 14th with my spouse Spouses biometrics on May 16th My medical passed July 29th (the day after I got them done) No decision yet. Still waiting.

My spouse and I went and did our medical request after 2 months of waiting. You can still do an upfront medical and send it to them through the webform. Mine was updated as medical passed the next day. Still waiting for my spouse. But they emailed us saying they received our medical forms and...
