as far as I know, you just need to take with you your passports and CoPR. It depends on how busy that border office is, but usually I have heard is between 10 to 30 minutes

Passport sent on October 21st and reached Ottawa on October 24th.

In my case and a couple friends I know, we are inland and we included our Canadian Criminal records as well as our home country criminal records. It's just 50 or 60$ and it takes 2 weeks or so.

you can do your landing anywhere in Canada as far as I know. But you should be able to show that you are going to the province that nominated you.

I think once it gets in progress they work on it and they dont update. Mine got in progress in August 18th, and according to my notes it shows that security and all that was passed the next day, august 19th. Ever since it has been in progress even I got PPR last week. So I dont think they update it.

You can do it at any port of entry. Only thing is that if you do it in other province than the one that nominated you, make sure you have your plans clear to go to that province.
