It depends but it could go from 1 to 3 weeks. In my case was one week since they got it

I'm pretty sure that tomorrow or next Monday you will see your application as approved in mycic and you return tracker activated

Yes, everyone gets that email but early in the processing of your application. In my case I applied on July 6th and I got that email on march next year.

At this point of your application I dont understand why they would send you that email. It is too generic. They dont specificaly tell you if you are missing something. So I would contact CIC and ask regarding to that email. Probably you wont have to send anything...

Friday is statutory holiday.

It's longer than an A4, but they just bend it and put it inside without any issue. Dont worry. On the border they will bend it even more to staple it on your passport once they sign it and stamp it.

you buy the big one to put everything in it, and you send inside the small envelope. that they will use to return your CoPR

Congratulations!!! On the border they just want to see your passport and your certificate of permanent residency (CoPR). No need to bring anything else.
