    Yes they can, but switching one vendor to another is not very professional. Rather they want to make delay but make sure it is secured and less confusing...

    I also want to be wrong. But CIC might wait till 30th as that is the deadline for Canada Post. It's taking two to three weeks to send and get back passport, so they might not want to put anybody in that strike, so they stopped since last few days. Anyways, this is my assumptions only....

    I suggest apply for Bridge open work permit if you don't have any employer restriction. It will cost you bucks but you will have mental peace :)

    Actually you don't need to do anything after e-medical. But you can update the e-medical receipt via CSE (Case Specific Enquiry). I did via CSE, CIC responded back after around 15 days with automated email and after 7-8 days of their response, my ECAS got updated. Thanks.
