I don't think CIC will send any PPR until Canada Post goes to any decision...

I hope you are wrong. If they decide to stop working, only thing CIC needs to do is let people use others couriers. Simple
 
Usually there should be some new by now.. this is pretty bad. >:(

I also want to be wrong.
But CIC might wait till 30th as that is the deadline for Canada Post. It's taking two to three weeks to send and get back passport, so they might not want to put anybody in that strike, so they stopped since last few days. Anyways, this is my assumptions only....

this is bullshit... CIC waiting for Canada Post strikes, seriously guys? What about the visa exempt applicants like me who only need an email and no visa stamping...... LOL

June 18 still waiting for PPR . Background still not change now, who knows I Hong I still have to waiting! !!

Irrelevant of passport being stamped or not, your COPR document will be sent out to all applicants which will ultimately require postal service to be available to send.
As they insist only on Canada post, why wont they wait till the problem is over. Or else they will have to collect everyone's passport (many/most of applicants') and waiting for Canada post to resume services. Holding travel documents such as passport is worse than receiving ppr late.

I am June 15 applicant waiting for PPR. Background in progress since 24 May :( :( :( :( :(

They can always let you use UPS or any other courier company.
