I don't get it how medical and landing is related ?? When they ask for medical and you submit, that chapter closes right there. If they havn't requested medical yet then there will be no PPR as well.

Yup, hold tight, You will hear about it soon. I think if your medical has been approved then you shouldn't worry about. Federal has their own timeline on working files. All i know as per my Lawyer, things shouldn't get affected.

Did CIC request medical or you did upfront? . In my case no medical request was made till date, i have paid the RRPF fee though... CSQ and Federal are two different stages, IRCC doesn't hold things onto CSQ.

The CAQ government is sucking it up, worse ever in years. But as per them it shouldn't affect the time line ... lets hope for that atleast.

Well..... start to think about it honey... ✌✌. But ... CSQ and Federal stage waiting will almost kill you. Its really really not the best way considering the fact that express entry is way faster.. 6 months for the whole thing and ta daaaaaaa....good luck.

Looking at the wait and the miserable journey of waiting ahead?? Not worth it.... how about Express Entry??

I guess its a whole different process.. you are an inland applicant and now you are out of Canada. I would call CIC because any info here may turn out to be unreliable or just assumptions or personal views and situations,, you dont want to mess this up after all this waiting.

Submit the PCC upfront,,, i would say not to pay RPRF upfront, because when they ask for it, you will k ow your application is moving and almost final. My medical was requested 4 months after AOR and my RPRF after 4 months of medical.

Call them,, they will ask you to fax a written request, its better. I hope u dnt mind me asking, why do you want to withdraw yours??

In my case... i got my Medical in 4 months... goes upto 6 months sometimes, i was an inland applicant so i know takes 13 months max for the whole process(Conditions and exceptions apply)

I would call bank in this case to see if it reflects on your card statement, looks like a glitch, but if you have reciept, it is a confirmation that CIC has received the payment. But Make sure it is linked with your profile.

This doesn't surprise me at all @Macarad. The US border officers are quite intimidating. But you are not seeking entry to us this time. My friend who went with me had a US visa too, the guy didnt question it much, cuz u want to go towards Canadian side. Ofcourse there are other options like...
