My experience... medical first.

So as per the CIC people.... my passport was sent out on friday and the return tracker is still inactive... is this normal???

Ok... so as per the CIC, my passport was sent out for delivery on friday .... and the tracker is not yet activated.... they said cuz it was sent out on the weekend so probably, it will be activated by this evening.

Most of the people here i know got their decision made in like 10th or 11th months including me... and since the way Cic works is totally unexpected and pathetic... couple of us are waiting for our passports to come back after stamping even after 2 weeks of them receiving it, which is nearly...

My file isnt connected to mycic as my lawyer did it for me. So when that automated chick we hear when we call em?? She reads exactly whats in your my cic. Yes its approved.

Nope.... you are fine. Couple of my friends received their passports at po boxes.

You can call CIC ... really dnt have to speak to an agent,,, follow option 1 and enter your application number, the automated sweet hot chick should be able to tell you if its approved ,,, which i think should be by now.

Lets keep in touch .... super fckd up m sorry to say.... how hard it is to freaking stamp the passport... why everything has to go through anonymity... like a super secret thing is going on. I hope in future if they can update it on ECAS/Mycic ... Passport received, stamped, waiting to be...

Hi Linuxaway, My passport was delivered on June 21st too, called this morning and the CIC agent said .... your application is approved and its going through next process which he didnt tell me what it was... let get in touch and keep us posted about the status.

Really?? That is super weird... just make sure with canada post that everything is ok. One more thing since xpresspost is almost same or next day delivery... they will return u the money... i know its not that much...but yeah ..just saying.

I have my work permit ending Aug 5th... so that will be a lil weird lol.. my passport is at ottawa and i am still waiting ... normally it would take 2 weeks ... 10 business days... but thats not happening i guess.
