To renew a PR we have to be 2 yrs out of 5 in Canada. Currently I have some more time to stay in Canada so that I can achieve this. You can say I understay in Canada. Regards

It means the PR card has reached its expiry date and I have not met my RO Obligations yet. I am waiting to complete my 2 years and then will ask renewal. As per previous advice on the forum,its better i wait i complete my RO then i do any administrative stuffs for my wife. Regards

Thank you very much. And you think is it wise to apply maybe 3 to 4 months before I complete my RO. Then I apply for PR renewal and update my records. Will she have to return or can she stay here when I update my PR. REgards Loyal2016
