This thread has not been updated in a while, but I think there are quite a few applicants here who just took their tests. Can those who recently went to the test share their interview experience (e.g. questions asked)?
Are these all the documents required that you brought with you for the test and interview?
Test invitation letter (original)
Two pieces of ID: Driver's License and Health Card (original)
PR card (original)
CoPR (original)
Passport (and all previous expired passports used within past 5 years)...
Thanks for the advice all. I'm very hesitant to postpone the test...I've been waiting all my life (in Canada) for this!! So I'll try my best to move my work trip somehow.
Until today, I was so pumped that my test invite (and letter) was mailed in...and confirmed to be Feb 16. My application is under urgent processing for work reasons.
However, I just got scheduled for a work trip on that date, that I cannot move!!!
Is it possible to request IRCC move the test...
How many days did it take after the ECAS status to receive the letter?
For me, it's not the fact that the letter was mailed, it's that the CIC agents said that I should have received an email, and they "don't know" if it was emailed or mailed out. :-\ I mean, come on...
To those who got the test invite...I didn't get an email (although the CIC agents I spoke to said that since I had indicated email communication preference, I *should* have gotten one). They said to wait for a letter, in case a letter had been mailed.

So many October threads (I see 4 different ones in the citizenship forum!). It's very confusing...
Anyway my application was confirmed to be under urgent processing...but there's been no update on the status since IP on Jan 9. I'm guessing urgent processing doesn't really move the needle.
Which number sequence do you use to talk to an agent? I keep getting a "we are getting a high volume of calls, and are unable to transfer you to an agent." message, which is so frustrating...

I see. Lots of typos in the booklet as well. Pretty disappointing to see, especially if this is the "official" document to help prepare applicants for the citizenship test.
See https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/discover-canada/read-online/federal-elections.html
"Canada is divided into 308 electoral districts, also known as ridings or constituencies."
Isn't this incorrect? Aren't there 338 electoral districts now?
Wait..are *all* old passports required? I've all my passports from when I was a baby...does IRCC need to see all of them? If so, I need to somehow find them in time.
Or do they only need to see the passports I used to enter Canada, even if expired?
Finally got IP! My AOR was on Nov 21, with my application received on Oct 18. Hope this moves on to the test invite quickly as I've multiple trips coming up...
Are there still chances of RQ at this point? I've also traveled quite extensively for work during the past few years, so while I've...
Oh yes, I agree. I wasn't expecting to get the passport within a month though...that would be ludicrous thinking for even the biggest optimist out there.
I was just wondering if that was grounds for helping push my application through to IP at the very least. Doubtful, but is it even worth a...
To those who claimed urgent processing is required - what reason did you state? And did you just complete the web form here?
I'll need to travel for work in Jan 2018 to a country that will require a visa with my current citizenship, and will not need one once I become Canadian. The problem is...
