Your status will remain the same for a long time. I had my interview more than a month ago with LVO, but my status is still the same, just shows that they received my application on 23 May 2013.

Re: PCC from Pakistan See if you can get a waiver. A friend of mine recently immigrated to Canada. He did not know how to get a PCC for Saudi Arabia, so he applied for a waiver. The request for waiver was accepted and he migrated to Canada. This was in 2013.
