Traveling while application is being processed

If you're full time in school, registered and making progress, don't have run-ins with the law, not involved in prohibited work activities, were not involved in human rights violations or other activities that can make you non-eligible to enter then there are really no grounds to deny you entry...

Was your husband issued a departure order, or was he deported, or was it just an overstay without anyone saying anything?

Inland application returned due to missing doc after PGWP expired, Help!

Are you sure out of status applicants receive OWP after 4 months? I thought for out of status this is only possible after AOR2.

    Few Questions on the process

If you have your Status Indian paperwork you should be able to move to Canada and after that start sponsorship. Your spouse would need to enter as a visitor, but but could get a work permit after some months.

URGENT British Citizen 2017 -PPR request where to send passport?

Re: British Citizen 2017 -PPR request where to send passport? Another example of CIC at its best in an effort to muddle up the process. They could've been clearer in "For citizens of a country required to obtain a visa to Canada" - which visa? Permanent resident visa? Business visa? Visitor...

    When will PR card arrive?

This whole PR card business is really shameful. It keeps people in limbo for months. First PR card issuance should be automatic and immediate, since all the eligibility requirements have already been verified prior to landing.

    Procedural Fairness Letter-

You can consider getting notarized statements from friends, family, landlords who witnessed you living together, if you haven't submitted that. Common shared finances - that you maintained a household together, etc.

    Sponsorship - Common law

We submitted the application as common-law. The letters do not need to be notarized according to the regulations. We did notarize a few letters - from friends, from parents, not from landlord though. While not necessary, a notarized letter adds some weight, rather than a collection of letters...

Is there any way to influence next review date (bring forward date)

Obviously there's nothing guaranteed that kick-starts anything, but is anybody aware of some action that possibly caused a review before bring forward date, something worth trying to do for the applicant?

    Alberta laws about common law?

If you've already been living in BC for some time, don't forget to gather proof before moving, this time also counts towards 1 year, even if you can only prove some months out of all time living together.

Is there any way to influence next review date (bring forward date)

Anybody has any experience where CIC reviews provided documents before the bring forward date? For example: CIC requests police certificates and gives an overly generous 120 days. The certificates are delivered to them in less than 30 days. (real life situation) Are 90 more days wasted...

After being approved for immigration, when can I leave??

Denied by CBSA or by CIC? Sorry, I have trouble understanding under which regulation PR status can be denied at point of landing when CIC made a decision to grant it. If the person landing says something to the effect they are not planning to settle that's one thing - could be construed as...

After being approved for immigration, when can I leave??

Since both of you are Australian citizens nobody will say anything about one-way tickets to Australia- nobody will even ask whether you do. There is no requirement to stay in Canada for any minimum time after she lands, you can literally not even leave the airport and take a plane back in 2...

For #1, I would say whether you committed a crime should not be up to you to decide and not even up to police but up to the judge. If the judge did not make such a decision, I doubt you can self-incriminate yourself with a crime. A crime normally has to be proven, and in this case it sounds like...

    Translation of documents

The rules are clear: Use either a provincially certified translator without any notaries Or use anybody that you like as a translator + a notary noting down a statement from the translator that the translation is accurate (Translation bureau would do exactly this).
