How can I bring my sister and her daughter in Canada

I don't know if my comment is of any help and I certainly DO NOT want to get your hopes high. However, there may be two options for you to look into: 1) Applying for your mother, and then proving your sister is dependent on her/you (whether financially or physically). I UNDERSTAND that she is...

    Overstayed under Super Visa

As I said, order GCMS NOTES (with correspondences sent to them) for the original application. IT IS basically their database notes. It will take AT LEAST 30 days to get those: it will have their database information in it. Also, PLEASE make sure with DECENT lawyer on what steps to take next. I...

    Overstayed under Super Visa

I recommend asking a decent lawyer about if she should leave right away or not! Please do ASAP, and yeah ask a DECENT lawyer tho. Appeal can also go this way: 1) first you apply for an extension 2) when it's not approved, you apply for an appeal with documents supporting that you had originally...

    Overstayed under Super Visa

I believe at this point, you have to apply for restoration of her stay! However, she has surpassed that 90-day period allowed to restore the status. So you can't just apply for extension of her stay. You would have to appeal for consideration of her case. Also talk to a decent Canadian...

    Overstayed under Super Visa

Okay if the category is V-1, I assume it's visitor visa indeed. IF YOU can prove that it was supervisa you applied for, then definitely talk to MP. ORDER GCMS NOTES & correspondences for the application you originally applied. It will have all the attached documents that submitted; and if on the...

    Overstayed under Super Visa

You can't say if it's supervisa or TRV based on just medical insurance. Please read under the "category" on the visa sticker on the passport. If it's PG-1, it is supervisa :)

    Overstayed under Super Visa

Here is the post that I'm talking about :) the original poster also wrote an update in this post. BUT PLEASW MAKE SURE IF IT SAYS PG-1 or not on your visa. BECAUSE THE FOLLOWING CASE WAS an overstay of SUPERVISA, not TRV...

    Overstayed under Super Visa

Does the visa on passport say "PG-1" under category? If yes, then it is supervisa. If not, I recommend talking to your MP and getting a letter stating that she had no ill intention to overstay but rather was a mistake. I believe I read on this forum somewhere where someone overstayed their...

Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

Once you get immigrant visa stamped on your passport, other visas most likely will be void and won't work. But that's just my point of view. Entrance into Canada is totally dependent on CBSA offer's discretion. How they interpret is totally dependent on them. Why would you wanna risk it (it's...

Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

As I said, it is recommended to wait for PR card to arrive before you travel. Otherwise, you will have to obtain PRTD document specifically to enter back into Canada without PR. So my recommendation is to wait until you physically get your PR card and then do whatever you would like. A month or...

Tips for 2016 (Future) PGP Applicants

So here is the procedure: Ottawa is taking about a month or less to return passports, and once you get your passport back, you will receive COPR document with it. That document has to be signed by immigration/CBSA officer to finish landing protocols. While being in Canada, you have three choices...
