Hey there, Sorry I don't have much experience with this but as far as I remember, I did come across some people on this forum who faced kinda similar situations. I think your permit is going to have a condition written on it asking you to complete medical within 30 days. Unless you already have...

1) Did you attach medical exam along with the extension application for either? 2) Did the extension application asked for a proof of medical exam when you initially applied online? 3) Did you submit proof of medical insurance for either when applying online?

Was your visa office New Delhi that processed your application, or is it Ottawa?

Highway52 from NDVO got DM and pre-arrival yesterday after doing their medicals on Nov 22 when the request was made in 2nd week of November or so. I have a hope to hear something good from their office soon :)

From your history, it seems like your file is in NDVO. If yes, the e-mail or mail that you have received instructing you to submit the said documents, they should have included the instructions on how to submit them too. Sorry, I do not want to give you the wrong address. As far as I remember...

To be honest Sam, I really want to be optimistic and say the next 3-6 months sound reasonable. However, anything is possible with NDVO :(
