Did they also shut down VO in Vienna? Nothing can surprise me... just kidding ;)

    VIENNA OFFICE

New Delhi VO is issuing visas in 2-3 weeks once the AOR is sent from their VO. How is this possible when they have the largest volume of the applications? This is a complete bias - why is Vienna office taking forever to even send AOR's? The whole process is absolutely unfair to everyone...

I will contact my MP tomorrow. Enough is enough. I'm sick and tired of people being left in the dark and not knowing what's going on. CIC is playing with our lives and our well-being, while we are all freaking out since not a single visa has been issued in 4+ months. I will keep you posted.

It might take up to 3 weeks to get your passport back. Did you send your passport through registered mail? Can you track it to ensure that they received it?

We were discussing Stage 2. Take a look at May and June spreadsheets for Stage 2 New Delhi applicants. They are self-explanatory. Stage 1 process is definitely broken. It should be fixed. And don't take it personal. You (or your spouse) will land in Canada before I even get an AOR from my VO.

Being a PR, 7th generation or 107th generation Canadian makes no difference. We pay taxes and work 6 months for Canadian government every year. Therefore, we do deserve certain level of service and professionalism that unfortunately is lacking when it comes to CIC. I don't have a clue what is...

"Corrupt" might be a harsh term and very un-PC, but something is definitely going on. We are talking about people's lives here, this is not a rocket science, at least Stage 1 is quite simple and straight-forward. The most frustrating part is a lack of communication by CIC and uncertainty that...

IMO, CIC certainly has a bias in Stage 1. What's even more troubling is that CIC has preferential treatment for any applicants going through New Delhi office because there is no way that other offices have such a backlog as ND does. Majority of immigrants in the past few years came from India...

You will be most likely getting approval via snail mail. Not too many people get turned down at Stage 1. Good luck.

Because you just got your Sponsorship Approval and you are talking about completion of Stage 2. It looks like you're rubbing it in. You should thank your lucky stars that you got Sponsorship approval after a month while other people wait 100+ days for it.

Yes, that means that your email/letter is on its way. People rarely get turned down for sponsorship unless they are criminals or they are receiving social assistance. And since your VO is in New Delhi, your spouse will be getting all the papers no later than mid-September, guaranteed. I wish my...
