When a person enter as a minor of a parent who makes a refugee claim for the whole family and adult is deemed inadmissible. If you were a minor when you or your family made a Refugee claim you do not need an authorization to return to Canada, NOR need to apologize or any kind of explanation.

In my case, the VO requested few weeks ago the ARC + fee and I sent it already, now I am waiting for it. If my ARC get approved, the VO will request my passport next.

Yes, it is correct. We have to know that without ARC (Authorization to return to Canada) we will not be allowed to go back to Canada. ARC has to get approved by the VO/CIC first. It would be done before you get the Visa stamp on passport.

Hi Angie. How are you? Do you need to apply for ARC? If yes, your Visa office will ask for it. It includes a letter (you need to check their website and see if they will request this letter), + ARC fee (CAD$400). You should be close to the end as soon you get an Email or mail asking for it...

I think we are the only ones dealing with ARC through Rome. I have been trying to find someone who did or is applying for ARC, but no luck. Most Visa offices approves ARC in 2 - 6 months before they ask for the passport. We assume that Rome will take between 2 to 3 months to process ARC...
