JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

They didn't sen me a notice of receipt, and I don't think they do so for anyone. I only knew because I had a tracking number for mine.

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

danawhitaker pointed out to me that DMs typically get sent out at the beginning of each month. You must've just missed the cutoff for this month, but expect to get a DM at the beginning of May!

**DECEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Congrats! My PPR stuff was delivered April 13, so I was hoping to get it back this week, but if it took a week to get to you within Canada, I expect I'll get it next week, since I'm in the states. So where are you planning to do the landing process?

Oh ok. I was thinking it had to do with something else. Thanks for the reply!

What does it mean to cross with dual-intent? What's the purpose of it?

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Got PPR Tuesday night, sent everything out Wednesday afternoon, and it was delivered Thursday morning (today). The worst is over for me, and I couldn't be more relieved! Thank you to everyone answering my questions (despite being repetitive at times)! I hope everyone still waiting gets quick...

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Thanks you two! I ended up going into a fedex office and telling them that I needed to send a few things to Ottawa, including a prepaid envelope. They told me to use a reusable envelope, and create a waybill with my credit card info. I didn't need to set up an account or anything. So IRCC will...

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

I'm applying outland, living in the US. So I can set up a Fedex account online and just create a shipping label? Is it just a regular envelope that you used as the return envelope? Is it easier to just go to a Fedex location, tell them what I'm trying to do, and let them do it all?

**NOVEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

I got my PPR tonight!! Omg this is so close to being done! The only question I have is how to get a prepaid envelope (for someone living in the US). I've read quite a bit of posts that went back and forth on that, and all I remember is something about a waybill? Any help is much appreciated...

**OCTOBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Congratulations, I got my PPR as well!! 1. I was also wondering about the "amendments" part. 2. The pre-paid envelope is for them to send you the COPR, it's not for the passport.

TO WHOMEVER KEEPS CHANGING THE SPREADSHEETS TO ONLY SHOW NEW DELHI APPLICANTS: PLEASE STOP! It's not just the November spreadsheet either. Maybe the NDVO applicants should make a spreadsheet just for themselves. I know I can just revert to an earlier version, but it's becoming a bit of a...

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Even US citizens are getting PPRs now. They weren't requesting it from us until a few months ago, but they only ask for a photocopy of your passport, not the passport itself. Either way, you should expect a PPR.

    How long did what take?

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Yes, it takes time. But in regards to the "eligibility in review," it'll say that the entire time throughout the PR application process, so it's normal.

JANUARY 2017 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

It will show "checking eligibility" until they send out your COPR. It's referring to the PR Application, not sponsor application.

US Police Clearance: FBI Processing Times

It's not a matter of whether the IRCC will accept it, it's that the channelers themselves can't/won't be able to help you unless you're a citizen/PR.

US Police Clearance: FBI Processing Times

I did ink, but there were no livescan options nearby. I'm not sure sure if there's a big difference in either, other than cost, but if you end up doing ink, ask for 2 sets of prints. You'll want to submit 2 sets, in case the first set isn't adequate for the FBI. Since you can't use a channeler...
