Haha now I see a trend. Exact seven day error. Must be something to do with the system. I could link the OWP on GCkey yesterday (couldnt see cause of consultant) and now we have the app number. Thinking in the next few days we should have an approval!

Status update. Wife called and managed to get the OWP application number. The agent again said it takes four months to get OWP. I called the self serve option and all I got was "Application recieved Feb. 4th". No mention of approval. Doesnt make sense because the PR was recieved on Feb 11th...

I wish I could check my ECAS but only my consultant can. If there was only a way I could check the status of it using a UCI # in the CIC hotline. Ah well. If its approved, its approved and it will be sent my way none the less. Did you recieve an email or just by using GCkey?

Oh trust me, the calls will stop starting today haha. My consultant is having difficulties linking the app and she informed me that it does not matter - when the application is approved she will get an e-mail and will inform us right away, which seems about right. So my wife gave the CIC a call regarding the OWP. This lady asked for her application number, etc, etc. She then informed my wife that first they need to see if I am eligible to be a sponsor first, then they will issue a work permit and this takes 120 days. Am I missing something here? Lol
