Hello, You should edit the name and UCI # so that it is not being shared openly on the forum. Those things are private and should not be shared for your own protection etc..

Yeah I should also be the stage 2 color instead of the stage 1 that it is now. I think it might be because I received AOR and SA on the same day but who knows?

Cheapest option to move from Midwest (USA) to Quebec?

As someone who drove from Victoria BC to Moncton NB I can say that it's very far apart, over 6000kms. Vancouver is a happening place to visit, work, etc. You never see BC plates around here, ever.

DM Nov 19 was for SA right? Did you send medicals with your application originally? Here's a link to the Sept spreadsheet if you'd like to enter your info: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GjJ4dA0tpuXK19OVTWqbA9Fjp0nvaVohi5zS5H-cGqg/edit?pli=1#gid=0

Cheapest option to move from Midwest (USA) to Quebec?

I would just keep your childhood keepsakes and anything sentimental then and let the books and dvd's go as they can be acquired again. That way you would be able to just bring everything on the plane with you perhaps.

Cheapest option to move from Midwest (USA) to Quebec?

Probably the best plan would be to go through your stuff and just keep the absolute essential and sentimental items. Then you could sell, donate, or store your non essentials with a family member or something for now to keep costs down. If you got it down to just a few boxes that are not super...

Thanks Leah and good luck for your extension too! :) I think the online way is at about 68 days right now so you`ll have a good solid few months before you get the decision anyhow. Hopefully PR will happen way before that! 8)

    US outland applicants' thread :)

Yes it was just a straight forward normal visitor extension for my US spouse.. Yes the site recommends to apply 30 days prior to your visitor status expiring, and so I like to comply with what they recommend personally although many here do not.. It is faster processing if you do an online...

Yeah it's going to be hard to guess how it will go with the Ottawa VO till they start really moving again, keeping positive though! 8) Got some good news in the mailbox yesterday which was nice.. We mailed my wife's visitor extension application via Canada Post, and CIC received it Feb...

    US outland applicants' thread :)

That was me that said that back a few posts.. My deduction was if I was a federal employee with my 5-6+ weeks of vacation time per year (senior employee etc), I'd probably like many would want to take some summer time holidays.. So I was thinking just in case it would be nice to have all this...
