    its not same..its not same at all..from the time cic receives ur file , they put in progress on ur gcms system ... File only goes "in process" when eligibility has been passed and ur file is in fi al stages..

    Sama's Visa officer is diffrent..each officer has their own work process..anyway... As the holiday season arrives..the officers will be coming home for atleast couple of weeks..so dont expect too many news in the month of december good luck to all of us :)

    Some VO changes ur ecas "in process" right at after everything is done such as background check security etc....and they send u a letter or email to ask for passport remed etc. Where as some VO changes ur ecas "in process" when the final review is done....they send u a letter for remed right...
