@satwant08 not at all a problem ... we just landed recently ... my daughter was 2 months old when her passport was taken and the phots for corp were taken recently and now she is 3.5 yrs old and there was no problem on landing

@ItsBeenLongNow That I know ... but each applicant gets it after different dates ... just wanted know recently how much time it takes ... 1 person who landed on April 1st week has still not got the cards....

before leaving Canada take a passport size photo in the specification mentioned in cic and give it to give it to the local person whose address you mention for reciving the PR card .. The only problem could be the photo problem and it can be mailed to them if any issues arise....

I think you can enter Canada on a student visa , but when you apply for PR after that you need to have police clearence from US and India ....

This refers to people who has got their citizenship through forged documents by not maintaining their residency period .. But by staying for 4 years and getting one is well within the rules of the game ... If successful after 5 years stay if else exit with a new passport . You can consider...

Middle East is also a good Option .... I have seen many people who got their Canadian Passport earning double than they had earned with the Indian passport .... Here in the middle East if you have any Asian Passport , they consider you as a low level expat but if its a Canadian, Euro , Ausis ...

@MattUSA I think you need to stay in a place where your comfortable in ie US ..... There is no use moving from US to Canada where your credentials are not recognised and spend a lot getting an US education . If your current visas are expiring , you have every opportunity...
