US Police Clearance: FBI Processing Times

That would be standard postal delivery times from US to France. For us in Canada, it was exactly two calendar weeks from when the letter was dated to when we received it. Granted, I assume it takes a day or two for FBI systems to print, seal an envelope and send it out.

manitsa, check through eCAS. There you would probably see that a notice saying they sent you correspondence shortly after you linked your application online. This is most likely the request for Schedule A and police certificates. Looks like you havent gotten anything yet so it would be best...

The main point is dual intent and is a frequent topic of discussion when people want to apply inland vs. outland. IRCC allows dual intent for the purposes of an inland spousal application. So you will have to let the border agent know of your intent to apply while having to show proof that your...

Have they charged your credit card? We were concerned about rejected fingerprints after reading online. So we actually submitted three sets of fingerprints. Better safe than sorry.

I dont think there is any requirement that your medical checks have to be done in your home country. All that is required is that it is done by an approved panel physician which CIC lists a directory. As for timing, the recommended timeline is that you go get the checks when the CIC requests...

    Question about schedule A/PCC

They will ping you again if you are missing docs. Call the IRCC if you have any questions. The agent was very helpful in outlining exactly what was required from us. We were not able to see anything on myCIC but showed correspondence on eCAS. So we called to ask exactly what was needed.

We just sent ours through the CSE webform. Since we were part of the applications with the technical glitch where requests for data did not show up in myCIC, there was no way for us to actually upload the documents.

Account says just Correspondance sent but nothing else

That should be your Schedule A and Police Check request. If you haven't seen anything in MyCIC, then you have also fallen to the missed correspondence technical issue that is plaguing the online tool.

    FBI Police Certification

You should receive it, and upload to MyCIC. Or you can then send the FBI report with a cover letter stating your UCI and application number. If you have the FBI send it directly to CIC, the agents at CIC will have no idea which application it belongs.

How long it takes Open Work permit to be issued when applying for inland sponsor

You are assumed to be on implied status if you submitted your OWP alongside your PR application. Implied status means that you can continue with your current status until a decision is made on your application.

    Inland application

OWP are processed in CPC Vegreville which is in Alberta. There could be some time required to ship all the documents out there. During late April, several of us in the 2017 Inland group all got OWP ranging from 1 month to 2 months after application was sent.. This is leading us to believe...

    Inland spousal application April 2017

Are you sure you made an inland application? If your wife is in India, then you are most likely applying for an Outland application. If you have applied inland and they find out she was living out of Canada, then they may cancel your application and treat your case as abandoned.

So I gave the IRCC a call specifically about the missing correspondence issue. Called exactly at 8am, and was able to get an agent 15 minutes later. The very friendly IRCC agent seemed to be surprised by this gap between eCAS and myCIC and took note. She then confirmed that the correspondence...

IRCC allows dual intent for the purposes of an inland spousal application. So you will have to let the agent know of your intent to apply while having her show proof that her visit is temporary and that she has ties back in the US that she can return to. In our case, we were married in Asia...

Check eCAS instead of MyCIC. We found out that they sent out correspondence on there instead of the linked application. We are going to send Schedule A and PCC by uploading it anyway even without getting that email. Also, we sent a Case Specific Enquery via MyCIC. 10 days later we got a...

There's a new Schedule A out there as bajanqueen mentioned. It is an editable PDF with a validation macro that spits out a page of barcodes. Those barcodes summarize the entire form. I can imagine that instead of having agents read through pages of forms, they have software that picks up...

FBI police clearance might not be obtained within 90 days

There's an FBI processing thread here somewhere. Our experience was that it took 10 weeks. From dropping it off in a post office in Illinois (via regular post) and receiving it in hand May 1st here in Canada.
