I agree. On an optimistic note, AOR's can trickle in from 3rd week of January for early November applicants.

It's a delicate situation. If you have provided your country's current passport and expired ones details along with your application, then I believe it may go forward..Again, that's just my view.

Usually immediately or within a week after receipt of AOR (Acknowledgment of receipt) email from CIC

My optimistic guess for early November applicants would be beginning of 2nd week of January 2019 if speed picks up post christmas / new year holidays....
