Congrats on your 1st stage Approval, So if the letter was dated 22nd sept which was last week; it proves the point that the date on the website is not that accurate (at least one week before or oven 2 who knows????). Let's keep waiting guys and the bright side is We get to live aside our loved...

That is true but as I learnt today there actually 2 parts one where they assess the sponsor (u r able to see progress after 10 to 11 months) and the one for PR that one should be in progress some time when they receive it.You can try to ask same question in inlanders 2010 as they are more...

Are you the sponsor or the applicant? Either way I think it's too soon to tell maybe you give CIC a call and find out

Thanks Inlandappl, now I get why I don't seem to login Ecase with my name, to answer ur question (which application?) there is only one application for PR based on Sponsorship no work Permit as he still has a 3 year work Permit. I hope I answered ur question sorrry my english is not that great...

Very bad idea. It's called misrepresentation she could get deported even after she has PR. If she has a kid she has to tell it to immigration or else she will never be able to sponsor the kid.

**quick question* I applied to sponsor my husband in July 2011, he is able to see eCase progress using his id client (from previous immigration documents )and his last name but I cant access with my name I tried everything Citizenship card number etc;I must be doing something wrong. any help????

Do you still have Receipt from Canada Post or any other proof taht your application was received by CIC?

They say Montreal is way faster than other VO;and I think many staff from Qc r back from holidays so ur interview should be soon. :P
