when we receive MR forms email, it has UCI number for spouse and kids as well. I tried using UCI number to check application status online but its not working. Is it possible that we can track only with Primary applicants UCI number?

Just adding this bit of information. Got RPRF DD done from HDFC bank today. Asked them how can I check if DD is encashed or not. They said keep the reference number written on DD in your record and can later on come to branch or call phone banking to know the status using that reference number.

Then forget about HDFC, go to a Thomas Cook office which deals with forex. They will make a DD for you with not much hassle.

I think "Visa Fees" should be a valid reason in their list. Try with that or ask them to give a reason similar to Visa fees or Visa Application fees.
