**DECEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

Haven't received AOR1 yet. I tried to use the receipt number but nothing. I kind of figured ours might take longer because we filled everything out by hand and did not use the barcodes. Since I printed everything and brought it with me for my husband to fill out. Afterwards we realized what to...

**DECEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

All this news is exciting and encouraging! Still haven't been able to do anything with ecas or mycic but just have to be more patient. I am going to spend some time with my hubby in a couple weeks so was hoping we have the sponsor approval by then. Hoping and praying yes :)

Oh, for the past couple of days, I have been using our receipt number and my husbands info so principal surname and given name and his date of birth and country. Am I doing that part wrong? Is it the receipt number and then my info as the sponsor?

Yay! We are the same days :) Exciting I have a feeling mine might take a couple days more as we hand wrote everything on the forms and did not validate and use the barcode

Ok so trying to link app. Should I be using my husbands info? Like last name etc. And family members I think is 2. He has no dependants. I have a son but I don't think he would be included in that answer?

So happy to see all the good news here, people getting AOR1. I keep watching the spreadsheet so hopefully everyone is updating :) I think mine might take a little longer. We filled out all the forms by hand. Originally I didn't understand the barcode stuff and printed off the papers to bring...

I originally thought that as well. But for that form you have to fill in immediate family so parents and brothers and sisters whether they are full or step or half siblings.

    Mexico

It was a lawyer from the DR who translated it, so that's probably why they required the Apostille on that translation. I think if it's translated in Canada then you would be fine.

My husband is from Dominican Republic and we had to get the Police Certificate translated to English and have them BOTH validated (so legalized stamp and apostilled by the government office in Santo Domingo DR) before they said it would be accepted. But the translation was also from a lawyer...

Filling out application by hand. Barcode still needed?

Thanks for letting me know that. I figured it might possibly slow it down a little as they would have to enter in info. I hope not too much.

Filling out application by hand. Barcode still needed?

Thanks :) I just sent in my application so I hope it won't make them mad I did it all by hand. I was going to type it after my husband filled it out by hand but someone had told me once the papers were signed I couldn't fill it out and validate it. Now one more thing to worry about haha

Filling out application by hand. Barcode still needed?

I did everything by hand. I know they recommend the barcode but I was confused at first and printed the papers to bring with me for my husband to fill out. So doing the barcode after was not possible. Or maybe it is but I am not tech savvy.

**DECEMBER 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS**

I used Purolator and so the tracking package info said it was received by David S at the office. I am guessing they will send an email confirmation for the first step. But I am really a newbie lol And I know people talk about linking applications to their accounts but I don't know about any...
