Congrats Frenchwapiti!!! It's weird that you received the AIP via mail instead of email, but as long as you get it, you can't complain. right? For me, I received the marriage certificate from Registrar office last week and sent it to CPC last Friday with some additional evidence to prove our...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

In my wife's email (and mine as well), it shows which officer processed our file. Does it say in yours? Is there any email or fax number indicated in the letter? I think it would be really beneficial if you could directly contact the officer or the CIC-M office (not the useless CIC call agent)...

It's so weird that he still did not receive any email... Is there any way you can find out whether they have correct email address in their system?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Thank you ACS. The email for my wife actually came to my email, probably because I put my email address on both of our email contacts in the application. Did you check with CIC that his email address is properly entered in their system? FYI, this is the email content of my AIP. It looks like...

So, I'm guessing even if we get approved after sending the marriage certificate, we won't get any separate email or any kind of indication about OWP? I want to call CIC but don't want to waste my time talking to useless agents.

The marriage certificate was only available after 8 weeks of marriage and I wanted to send the application as soon as possible. So I only sent the marriage license.

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Hello All!! A good news and a bad news for us. I finally received the email today that I was approved as a sponsor. :D :D My wife, who is the applicant, received an email requesting for the marriage certificate although we provided marriage license with the application. I'm guessing they will...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I am not trying to start another debate since we've been through this many times. I'm just curious about what happens to the SIN once your work permit has expired. Is it still valid? Do you still file income taxes?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Well, I don't know. I probably have misunderstood his post. I thought he said his work permit has expired and he was still working. Whether or not he has valid implied status, isn't he in the same situation as all others who don't want to risk travelling abroad before receiving the PR?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I think people will jump to your post and tell you NOT to travel because you worked illegally after your work permit has expired and you don't even have your AIP yet. CIC suggest people NOT to travel before they get the PR. They cannot guarantee the re-entry. Am I right Ponga? :P :P It's really...
