    Citizenship after C-6 Bill

It says fall 2017, so could be anytime from now to November I guess

    Citizenship after C-6 Bill

I see. Thank you for the explanation. So in C-6, no requirements for minimum days per year out of 5 years, as long as you stay 365 x3 years in total of the 5 years, you meet the requirements to apply.

    Citizenship after C-6 Bill

Thank you. Just try to clarify that to avoid any misunderstanding. One thing I don't quite understand in C-6 bill, it mentioned "Applicants had to be physically present in Canada for 183 days in four out of the six years preceding their application." has been repealed, but nowhere it mentioned...

Do you think i will become a canadian citizen in time?

Are you serious? Citizenship application takes more than 12 months? I saw people normally taking 6-9 months from submit application until the ceremony. So my expectation would be within 12 months is still reasonable.

    Citizenship after C-6 Bill

I am just trying to understand what this new law will change the requirement to become a citizen of Canada. According to IRCC website, sometime in fall 2017, certain requirements will change. Such as only 3 out of 5 years required to stay in Canada instead of 4 out of 6. And the time before...

    CRS Score decreased after AOR

I mean I received the refusal letter about 1 month after I notice the points dropped below the score required for my draw. Yeah, I created a new EE application again and got invited last week.

    CRS Score decreased after AOR

Got refused after, you'd better check which part you have less points, mine was a misunderstanding. But unless it is their problem, you will have to get invitation and apply again.

Then you won't have any problem if you fly in.

    CEC/FSW/MPNP Dilemna. Please Weigh In

You need to check with IRCC for confirmation. But for people who applied before they used PNP to add 600 points to their EE application, which I believe should be similar case to yours.

    Rainbow Bridge PR Landing FAILED

To be safe, go to Thousand Island or Blue Water bridge which is 3 hours driving both way from Toronto. Otherwise you can always try your lucky at Peace bridge or Queenston Lewiston bridge

    CEC/FSW/MPNP Dilemna. Please Weigh In

If that's the case, you probably would have problem if you accept PNP and wait IRCC to process your PR application. I know this is a long wait, one of my colleague in the master stream has been waiting for 2 years. And she still has not received the Medical Check request yet. I don't know how...

    RPRF request received

The easiest way is to call IRCC and ask the agent whether your R10 check is done. Or order GCMS notes which will take 1 month to arrive.

    Ray of Hope 68th Draw

It's always like that long if you are applying for residency. And adjusting the occupation list is just a way to control what kind of skill workers the country needs.

    CEC/FSW/MPNP Dilemna. Please Weigh In

PNP will give you security. As you have already received nomination, you should be able to apply EE with nomination straight away. It guarantees you to get invited. Your FSW score is not high enough according to recent trend. What's your CRS score once you have 1 year work experience? It is...

    Ray of Hope 68th Draw

You probably want to ask in another thread. This is for EE draw. But for your information, your work permit is LMIA sponsored, your wife may be able to apply for Open Work Permit sponsored by your employer specific work permit.

    Skill level 0 Occupations

They don't really care, as long as you find a job and pay them tax that's all they care about. There is no minimum work experience requirement as long as your score reaches the draw's lowest score requirement. You'd better find out what's your score first then decide which NOC you want to use.

Q & A for Express entry programme : Skilled Professional

1.Yes, language test is a must even for native English Speakers. This is a stupid requirement. 2.Register on IRCC website and create a Express Entry profile/application to see your score and do some research on the recent EE draw. 3.Job bank is not really helpful from my experience, you have to...
