Job Offer for Intended work in Canada in EE profile

Anyone knows whether we should choose Yes or No for the Job offer under the Intended work in Canada section of Work History? If I am currently employed, do I need to choose Yes for this? It seems if I choose Yes, later on, it would require offer of employment which needs to state NOC...

RAY of HOPE 56th Draw (Predictions)

Not high enough, but worth to wait to see what score is for the next draw. I asked the remark, it is much expensive than it is used to be and takes twice longer than before.

RAY of HOPE 56th Draw (Predictions)

You are not the only one got marked down on one part. I got pretty much full score on the listening, reading and speaking, but for some reason they only gave me 6 for writing, where I can easily reach 7 a long time ago.

RAY of HOPE 56th Draw (Predictions)

Just heard yesterday the master stream OINP is full for now. that's about 1000 candidates. Maybe not 4-5 months, but at least 2 months, people are safe without additional 600 points.

CELPIP vs IELTS, some personal opinions

Yeah maybe. No offence, even other candidates who prepared for their IELTS felt the same and they are in different ethnicity group as me. But I guarantee to score 7.5 or more in IELTS should prove something, right? Plus it's a more global recognized than a Canada only exam.

CELPIP vs IELTS, some personal opinions

The sample answer for CELPIP's speaking test sounds immature English to me, but they gave 10-12 out of 12 for these candidates. Really don't know how they give score for speaking and writing.

CELPIP vs IELTS, some personal opinions

And apparently, CELPIP discriminates non native or european candidates's work in the test. I can easily get IELTS 7.5 or 8 out of 9 in speaking, but CELPIP only gives me 7 out of 12 for speaking, after re-evaluation, score remains the same. And many other candidates have the same issue.

Canada OR Australia in terms if IT opportunities ?

Depends on your speciality. A lot of people in my class they got jobs in Australia and with 6 figures pay for 6-8 years dev experiences. But in Canada, I hardly can secure an offer for over a year. A lot of fake job ads are here. HR or recruitment agency just want your CV as a backup or network.

CELPIP vs IELTS, some personal opinions

Just a personal experience and opinion for CELPIP. Listening: harder than IELTS. You can not see the questions before you listen the entire recording. Some times if the topic is difficult or you are not familiar with, it is hard to score a 9 or 10 for non native speaker. Reading: easier than...

IEC to Employer Specific Work Permit, LMIA required?

Only thing I can try to improve is the language from 108/136 to as much as I can. I would not be able to work over 2 years, that's the limitation of the permit.

IEC to Employer Specific Work Permit, LMIA required?

Yes, I have the point for a year experience. But it is not enough because of my age and not all my language test scores are over CLB9, so don't have the additional points.

IEC to Employer Specific Work Permit, LMIA required?

Have been working for over a year, not sure if LMIA is required to change my IEC permit to a employer specific one? And IEC doesn't give additional 50 points? IEC does not require employer to get LMIA to hire me in Canada. Thank you.
