Thanks, Manorite. My PPR was delayed and I didn't get it for almost 7 weeks after the file transfer. But, the DM came quickly after sending in the PP. I am sure it will be same case with yours too as you are still waiting for your PPR. So, don't worry.... you will get your PPR very soon and the...

Hopefully, it is a good decision! :-) On friday I saw under ecas that her current address became my address in Canada and her Indian address became her mailing address...

So was I. A student for the longest time and then became a PR and about to become a Citizen now. I don't ever remember me or many of my Univ buddies (from India to be specific) getting their student permit within a week or two. It was more like 2-3 months minimum. Again, I am talking way...

September is the month all Uni & Colleges re-open. So, I can kinda see it related to what you are trying to say. Although, I agree CIC website says that they give priority to Spouse & Children sponsorship applications over anything, in this case it may not be 100% since there is a tight...

It could have been an email acknowledgment notifying that the passport has been received by the ND office. Someone on the ND 2012 forum said they received an email acknowledgement upon ND receving their passport. Although, ND VO office does not normally send out an acknowledgment of receipt...

Did your AOR say that your file has been transferred? If not, wait till you receive your approval to find out the day your file has left CIC-M and in route to ND. From that day allow 3-5 weeks to get your PPR. And, yes getting a PPR in the form of email or snail mail is your ONLY...

Your file was transferred on July 9th!!! The average wait time is anywhere between 3-5 weeks and some of us have taken up to 6 weeks to get a PPR. So, sit back and relax for a while.. :-) it will be at least another 2 weeks before you can expect a PPR. Good Luck.
