Hello all, I received AOR2 from Mexico City on May 3rd and it stated that they have started processing my file and they did not request any documents. How much more of a wait do I have until Decision made? Am I dreaming hoping my husband can be in Canada by August??? Thanks !

It is the same for Mexico City VO... People Who have applied in September have not received DM yet.... I have a feeling I have a long long long wait......

I got my AOR2 the same day you received yours... Looks like we may have roughly the same timeline! Ugh I hope it is not that much longer! How long do u figure until we get a Decision made?? Fingers crossed it is in the next 2 months or so!

Hey Keera! I am also with Mexico City VO. I got my AOR2 yesterday!! I also got no document request!! Yay! If they wanted more documents would they of requested it in that email?? Hoping we are in the clear so they can process ours without delays!

Hoping because my application is as simple as it could be that is not the case. But nothing is in our hands! Just hoping to have my hubby in Canada by August! We will see I guess!

Finally recieved an email from Mexico City VO. They started processing the principal application on April 29th. Hopefully I get a DM within the next month or two! Fingers crossed!!!

Hello All, I am just curious as on my ECAS on the PRINCIPAL APPLICANT SIDE it only has 2 lines. It states Medical Results have been recieved and We recieved your application on January 8th, 2015 and that is all.... They transfered our application to the VO after recieving SA on February 26th...

You will be fine. I know a couple who got married 3 months after they met and got approved and they didn't meet each other's family until about a year after marriage. I'm pretty sure you are in the clear! Good luck!

I agree. It is not necessary, I did not submit one as they do not ask for one. But it is completely up to you

I asked the same question to one of my friends who applied a few years ago. She said usually around the 6 month mark to order notes....I sent my app in January so I am going to order my notes in June or July

I agree. There are many ways to avoid welfare and you would be trying to beat the system trying to hide it which is wrong

Yes I have that line Aquakitty... It says " we started processing your application Feb 22nd" then I received AOR on Feb 23rd and SA Feb 26th
