when i sent my CSQ file i had such an issue my name was written as charif while on other forms was cherif, my file was finalized and received the CSQ without any problem, in extrem cases they will ask you to clarify why there is difference..

btw unlike 2009-2010 applicants the current files takes more than 2-3 years to get their CSQ and then more than 3 years to get the visa.. i am sure if ppl knew their files would take more than 7 years so many would apply for another country and im one of them, i would already be in australia...
