GCMS REPLACED CAIPS - OLDER CASES ARE PROCESSED WITH CAIPS , NEWER ONES ON GCMS
FOSS IS A DATABASE USED TO SCRUTINY CRIMINAL RECORDS,

IF U ORDER GCMS - ALL WILL BE IN IT -

*GCMS - In short, this system will replace (and combine) both CAIPS and FOSS. *

*MORE ABOUT FOSS*

Field Operations Support System (FOSS)
Description: The FOSS database is a central repository of information on all persons who have been, may be or are wanted to be seen by Immigration staff. FOSS is the main operational support system for immigration operations in Canada. The system is comprised of numerous components including query functions, status entry, document creation, refugee monitoring, case processing support, medical profiles, registry functions, client name and address, statistical functions, airport primary inspection line functions, access and security, appeals and litigation, quality assurance and records maintenance. FOSS also provides query capabilities for lost, stolen and fraudulent documents. All Immigration staff that work with the public and the staff that support these officers use FOSS. It is also used at all international airports by customs inspectors and by a number of specialized groups, such as: Case Management, Query Response Centre, Social Insurance Registry, Immigration Health, Immigration Statistics, External Affairs Protocol , Canadian consulates in various locations in the United States. There are over 18.75 million client records and over 32.5 million document reference records.

hey,

i am quebec SW applicant, still waiting for medicals, do you think its a bad idea to apply for registration in nursing order outside of quebec from now? can they revoke my federal file, complaining that i am not attending to stay in quebec?

thanks in advance for your suggestions..

you have to do exams? check about it as nurse. if you watched the video I posted youll see, pharmacist cant work ;)
for me I did equivalence it took 18 months to obtain it.
They cant revoke federal, but in embassy they told someone since you don't have visa stamped everything is possible.

my aunt is head nurse, she works 120 hours/week to survive, just imagen.... 7 days x 24= 148 hours -120 hours = 48 hours rest :P

i know it takes long time for equivalence, thats why i am looking to start now, in quebec ''OIIQ'' have been updating their international forms since june 2012, they may keep updating them forever!!! so i wanna be registered to another province by the time i land in there..

BTW do you know that with all those working hours your aunt can be paid more than 15 000 dollars/ monthly, i have friends who are living there kings as they describe it, for less than 5000 dollars/month..

she is poor cant pay ticket to come visit to Lebanon, to see her father dying.

she has house duplex, life like queen but no money :D lot of expenses,
Don't register to another province, you can see nurse not anymore required in federal, means they have lot. keep ur eyes on quebec
my friends who went as federal they got jobs in montreal and la ville de quebec

lool that's her problem she has all those expenses, btw who lives in canada wont think about saving money anymore..
i am interested to register outside quebec because all the other provinces have the same requirments so once im registered to one it will be so easy to work anywhere else.. btw maybe nursing is not in federal anymore and still priority in quebec but weirdly! many montreal hospitals are expelling nurses for economic issues while in other provinces there is obviously more opening positions, last week a friend got sponsered for work in vancouver..

my aunt left from montreal to Vancouver 15 years ago... but guess she goes to seatle/usa to buy cheese and meat etc, cheaper than Vancouver,
but B.C. lot of Chinese

one copie ''immigration canada'' should be sent to the VO and the other copy ''titulaire'' should keep it with you until you land in quebec.. so the renewed CSQ is only valid for one year mmm hope they dont need to renew mine many times =/

IN WHICH STAGE U ARE ..HAVE U APPLIED FOR FEDERAL OR NOT YET ? U HAVE OBTAINED UR CSQ OR YET ?

U should obtain the Csq for ur baby too, u must send the documents in canada, Nova Scotia adress with a new family extract, birth certificate of ur baby, passport copy of ur baby , of course all translated, as well as the payment for dependent child. It takes time, around 3-4 month to receive the CSQ for ur baby. Good luck
