Hi - I have a very similar situation .... Expired permit ... Had to restore status as a visitor (the company decided not to apply for another LMIA as we were expecting my PR to be done in the summer!!!! I am same - living on savings ... Just waiting. I drove into the states on my visitor...

I had an MP enquire ... Didn't help at all really - they were pretty much given the same information as I had already got :/

So you had decision made on your ECAS ?... Or just got COPR ?...

I was under that impression too ... You can restore status as a visitor or worker, if it's a worker I think you have 3 months for the company to get another LMIA Can't say 100% but pretty sure - I'd get legal advice ...

Hi ... Wonder if anyone can answer this ... If I paid RFPR fee upfront ... Do I still get the email requesting that (even tho they have with the receipt # etc) do they still go through the motions anyway. Or would I just expect to hear decision made / ready for visa? Thanks!!

I wouldn't say you need help/advice from a forum at this point. You were given a decision made date, and confirmation it's approved .... I'd kill for that right now! ECAS itself would be the least of my worries. Congratulations!

So dos they confirm the '18 months' is based from when the application was received? As you say - we should hope to hear something in December, if not before?
