Re: Processing Time Once Application Is Under Review? Not completely sure how it works in Islamabad...but ideally you should have received some intimation for a medical request by now...since you applied end of May...have you tried contacting the embassy???

hmmmm...u can wait till then ....its just a couple of days from now....no need to call then ...just return on 22nd and see....keep us updated then on what happened.

Hi All....i applied through paper based application on 8th of June...with no pre-medical attached. On 10th of July i got an e-mail from the embassy to do the medicals..and went for that on 11th of July.... My classes start on 3rd of Sept..problem is i need to leave for dubai on 10th of august...

YA true....thats the best answer to give ....otherwise you'll definitely be sent packing from the airport itself...

I got an e-mail on 10th of July ....went on 11th....just called the hospital to find out whether it has been submitted to the embassy....its done...ive seen on this forum that some ppl have got their visa about 15 days after the medical ....i hope i get some good news soon ...

@CartonKay - i too applied on 8th of June...got an e-mail medical request on 10th of July... i did the medical on 11th and just called today to find out whether the report has been submitted to the embassy....they said it has....not just waiting and hoping the visa will come... Maybe you should...

YUP....i hope so too..they say it takes about 2 weeks after the medicals....so lets see.. which intake have you applied for??? Also just incase you have a photocopy of your passport take that along as well...the hospital had just taken that as identity proof when i had gone...you can also...

no just got the e-mail to go for the medicals......why would they give the passport back....that would mean im not getting the visa

damn...i should applied through VFS too....i did it myself....applied on 8th June...got medical request on 10th July ....now just waiting....
