Processing Time Once Application Is Under Review and Not in the Queue?

As the topic suggests, does anyone here has any idea how long it takes CHC Isalambad / immigration officer to process an application once its under review? I got an email from them earlier this week that my application is in process and under review. I was of the opinion that most of the delay in processing is due to long queue of applications but once your application is with an immigration officer its processed pretty quickly. But as it turned out even the review process is taking long.

I was hoping I'll hear from the embassy and get done with the medical sometime in July so I'll have at least a month after medical but I'm kind of worried now that if I'm not done with medical in July I might not be able to join lectures in Sep on time.

Can anyone here shed some light on it please?

Not completely sure how it works in Islamabad...but ideally you should have received some intimation for a medical request by now...since you applied end of May...have you tried contacting the embassy???

Processing time is much longer in Islamabad than the rest of the world. But as I said earlier its largely due to the long queue of applications. I got an email from the embassy on Tuesday that my application is under review.

I know a case from last year, the guy got an email from the embassy on 16 Aug that the application is in queue to be reviewed by an immigration officer and exactly two weeks after he got a medical request. I was hoping since my application is already under review I'll get medical request this week but I haven't got any yet.
