    Referance letterts for FSW2014

Sorry to hear about your situation. It looks like rules may have changed from the time when I applied for the PR. In my case, self declared (notarized) job duties were accepted with no issues. Although, even if I had not provided self declared job duties, I still had more than 5 years of work...

US Dollars as Proof of Funds at Port of Entry

That's what I had too, USD, when I did my landing. Although I didn't carry too much cash. I just had $300 cash and rest in the form of bank statements and a bank verification letter. It was all accepted with no issues.

PROOF OF FUNDS WHEN LANDING IN CANADA

I don't think carrying more than $10k in cash will be an issue at the Canadian border. Can't speak about the country where OP will be departing from. The general rule is that you don't have to declare the amount if it's less than 10k. However, if the amount is over $10k, it must be declared...

PROOF OF FUNDS WHEN LANDING IN CANADA

I believe bank statements and cards (assuming you meant Debit card) are only accepted if you are moving from the US (that too if it's from a known bank). If you are moving from any other country especially India/Pakistan/Bangladesh/Sri Lanka or any other country from the sub-continent then bank...

USA citizen : children for Indian Parents

PMM is correct! My son was also born in the US. We did have to get his medical done but police verification wasn't required - neither through FBI nor India and yes he was under 18 years of age.

Canadian PR travelling to US for work occasionally

When you say North America, do you mean the USA? North America is a continent, not a country. There are four countries in North America, i.e. United States, Canada, Greenland and Mexico. Assuming that you need to travel to the US as a Canadian PR, yes you'll need a different visa. If the...

How to give up and surrender permanent residency status?

Per my knowledge, you are under no legal obligation to surrender your PR status if you do not wish to live in the country. I am sure you already know this that to be able to maintain your PR status you are required to spend at least two years out of five years in Canada. However, if you are...

My federal skilled worker immigration experience

With due respect to OP, I have to agree with Susana that OP is a little rude. You must learn how to respect people. You are giving people your personal advice but you are not willing to take others. That's not right! How can you help others when you sound like such a dominating person...

    Good COnsultants

It depends on where you are and who you are dealing with. Always read online reviews before stepping into consultant's office. In most cases, if there is no online information available then that's the first sign that tells you to avoid such company at any cost. I lived in the US when my...

Employment Verification Letter Missing - Explanation Format

Hello Vivek, Unfortunately, I cannot answer this question because I was not in India when I did this. I was in the US at the time and all I did was, printed the text on a regular A4 print paper, signed it and got it notarized by the bank manager. Regards,
