I’m unemployed should I give my Option C

I was approved to sponsor with only 17,000 in savings (I'm not working now), but my husband has a good job, so they may take that I to account as well. I only submitted my savings information, no Option c. Hope that helps!

    Additional Documents Needed Help

Hi, Just wondering, when in the process did they ask you for more evidence of returning back to Canada? We are wondering if we'll get asked for additional info, but we're already 6 months in..

****SEPTEMBER 2018**** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP OUTSIDE OF CANADA

I received the file transfer email, and I am the sponsor. We still haven't received medical request though.

    Common-law partner sponsorship, Photography

I would stick to the 20 limit. If they need more pictures, they will ask later in the process.

    Online Account

GCKey I for the principal applicant, ECAS is for the sponsor. But technically both of you can look at them. But you use the PA info to link GCKey and use sponsor's information to check Ecas

September Spousal Applicant-No News from IRCC (only the sponsor side

It would probably be returned since you are missing half of the package, if I'm understanding correctly. But maybe try calling them to see if it has been returned.

    Which Courier services ?

I've used FedEx and DHL to and from Brazil/canada and both were pretty good. FedEx is a bit more expensive from what I remember but both made it to the destination on time.

Sponsor leaving for work while application in process

Since you are married, it shouldn't be a problem. It would probably be a problem if you were applying as common-law though.

Do we qualify for conjugal partner? Applying outland

Could you keep living with her until September 2019? If so, you could apply as common-law. Also, the only way to apply as inland is if you are both in Canada (which could mean you could apply as common-law or get married, if she is able to get a tourist visa to come to Canada). Otherwise, even...

    Landimg time after receiving COPR

I think you just have to land before your medical expires. Also congrats on the fast moving application! We applied in September too, but we still haven't heard anything from CIC.

    Conjugal partner

Also, in regards to the tourist visa and waiting in Canada. The best option would to get married (either in Canada or Brazil) and then apply for the inland sponsorship. With that, you'll be able to apply for the Open Work Permit that'll allow you to work (usually within 4 months after applying)...

    Conjugal partner

What immigration problems have stopped you? Usually the barriers are for countries that don't allow for same sex marriage or you can't get Visa's to visit each other. Neither of which seem to affect your situation. Conjugal is a hard route to go. If there is nothing stopping you from getting...

Sponsored common-law asked to prove intent to reside

That's very interesting, normally they ask for proof to reside when the sponsor is living abroad (didn't think they would ask that of the applicant since that's the intention of applying). Maybe you could ask the landlord to write a letter stating that your family currently lives there? And...

Applying my spouse PR while she is on Visitor Visa

The one was a card from a friend that sent us flowers for our wedding (that had our shared address in Brazil). And the other was a receipt from a phone that I had delivered to our address. In the letter, I addressed that we are only living in Brazil for a year (or however long it takes for our...

Applying my spouse PR while she is on Visitor Visa

We were unable to provide 2 documents for this section. So we included what we could (seperate documents for each of us that listed the same addres- utility bills for my husband and mail for me), as well as a letter detailing why we did not have any of the other 5 requirements.

Applying my spouse PR while she is on Visitor Visa

    1. Yep, you can apply for PR while she is on a Visitor Visa for inland. 2. You have to include the app for the OWP when you submit the Inland app (don't forget to pay the seperate fee for that). 3. I'm not sure about obtaining a driver's license during the process. Hope that helps!

Time frame from receiving package and start processing...

Sometimes people have accessed their Gkey or Ecas before they receive the AOR. We're are at about 1 and a half month too. But we try to access it online everyday, just in case it happens to show up before the AOR

It seems like it's taking roughly 2-3 months to receive AOR1.

Sponsor Pregnant Wife immigrated to Canada

I think on one of the forms it asks if either of you are pregnant and for the due date. I'm not sure if a doctor's note is needed.

Doubts in my first steps after reading Complete Guide

For questions 1 and 2 I'm not sure. But for number 3, I think you just submit the police clearance from the country you reside in (my husband is from Brazil and we were able to send in the police check and translation upfront). And I think the fingerprinting will be requested later unless you're...
