I've bugged CPC-O already this week :) and they did respond! But thanks, I'll ask for MP's help next week if needed.

I didn't get RCMP request either but got DM. So we know that the applications after DM are either being (a) processed, (b) in printing queue, or (c) awaiting authorization. I suspect they all mean the same. Anyway its good to know the ~ timeline for PPR is next week for you guys.

congrats p_sreenath. I had contacted my local MP office 6 months back, but they were not as easy to get through and wasn't worth my effort. Good to know that PPR for you is likely next week. Any idea what is CPC-O waiting for assuming your approval came the same day as DM? I am in the same...

Normally they expect you to drop the consent form (signed) at their office or scan and email before they can help. Hopefully they can provide you information while you are at the office.

If this helps: When I first came to Canada, on temporary visa with a job offer, I was asked at the POE for Financial Statement. I was carrying 3 months bank statement with me so it was a non-issue. Don't know what the rules are, but for that IO, it didn't matter that he had my Offer Letter with...

I had made GCMS request once, but got only temporary request number and then GCMS after ~5weeks, probably due to december holidays. Not sure if they send any other number, at least I didn't get it.

This was in response to 2nd email sent on Monday. I sent 1st email on 28 Jan but no response. Subject line had "file#:Status after DM?" I guess since it's been more than 2 weeks they responded? don't know. may be you should send one sometime next week? I did not know some application...

September 2012: FSW Arranged Employment applicants join here

Got email response to my query from CPC-O that they are still processing my application and can't provide a timeline yet for how long it's going to take. So at least I am assured that I did not miss any email or any other communication from them. Hope this helps others in the same boat waiting...

You can call up DHL and FeDEX and ask them their policy to send passport internationally with your explanation of the situation. The other option would be to travel to Canada yourself. The best option though would be to see if CPP-O will allow you to get visa stamped in India, only if they ever...

Wow! so they do take their time after "Decision Made"! In another forum I saw someone waited since Nov 2013. Anyway, thanks for your advise, I got the photos done and waiting for the email. I will send them email next week, if I don't hear back. I had one question: Should the passport mail be...

Thanks finallyseehopes! Yes, I plan to wait this week before sending out email to CPP-O sometime next week, if I don't receive any email. Wondering what could delay next email (PPR or otherwise) when a decision has been made? CIC works in mysterious ways :)! Amdee.

Still waiting for PPR. I browsed other forums and some folks who applied under CEC are waiting for PPR as well who got Decision made last week. The worst is there's nothing more to look at on eCAS after DM! May be there's backlog to be cleared at head of the line so some folks here are not yet...

FSW PR followed by a Family Sponsership

Software Engineer would qualify to apply for PR as Federal Skilled Worker only if you have a valid job offer. If your company allows internal transfer based on their requirements in Canada, that would work as well, and probably reduce your timeline. The timeline may improve further slightly if...

Thanks! No I did not send prints, since they never officially requested it. I saw that on the GCMS notes, which mentioned the prints, but they had started a background check instead. I was thinking of getting the prints done this week but thought of waiting another week. Anyway, looks like they...

This forum link may help provide some information: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/background-checks-explained-t39578.0.html Depending on the individual timeline may vary. I am in the same boat too but expected more time in my case since I've been to several...

jessica, I don't know if Security is done before "Decision made" but you may be right. In my case, based on the notes Security had not started and Criminality was in progress, but I have not received PPR/Decision made yet. It is possible that just the passport validation is taking varying...

September 2012: FSW Arranged Employment applicants join here

jessica, from my GCMS notes, I see that there is a different officer looking at Criminality than the one who did Eligibility assessment and asked for RRPF and Medical. Since your PPR is through, I suspect it's the officer responsible for Security that's taking time. From what I have read in the...

September 2012: FSW Arranged Employment applicants join here

thanks p_sreenath. I am waiting for CPP-O to ask for prints, which they have not. The GCMS specifically said they are looking at background check instead of fingerprints, which explains why I never got the request. So I am not sure if prints will help expedite things. But I will likely get it...
