    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

When my common-law partner applied in Sept 2013, she applied 2 days before her police certificate expired. She's from Japan and its a long and difficult process to get them again so i was wondering, do you guys think they will request her to send in new and updated police checks since they've...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

What Seangis said is troubling. I believe that its 10 months from when they receive it...not when they open it. If it WAS 10 months from when they open it, then stage one would take 1.5 years!! If you look at the spreadsheet, you can see that people who applied in March 2013 are getting AIP...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

Reading everyone's responses to AIP and AIP+DM really cheers me up and makes the wait not seem so bad. We have months and months to go before we're due for AIP ... I really hope we get AIP + DM + OWP at the same time. We paid all fees up front, we sent medicals AND police reports with the...

PGWP does qualify for implied status. Ive spoken with the cic and asked them this. On two different occasions i was told that PGWP is a type of OWP and that DOES qualify for implied status....and i then said "I read on the CIC website that PGWP does not qualify for extensions" and i was then...

    How thick your package is?

*insert bad joke* ahem.. Well mine was about 2 inches thick..we had to get the HUGE envelope..because it was JUST a bit big for the step down in size envelope. We are not married though. We've been living together 3 years, we submit 80-100 pictures of us in Vegas, with friends, out and about...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

So, very soon January 2013 applicants will be getting AIP. Once you get AIP...what does that actually mean? approval in principal isnt the final approval (DM) ..does it just mean that the sponsor has been approved ..but they are still assessing the applicant?

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

I have called in to the CIC and on two separate occasions, a CIC agent said "PGWP is a type of open work permit... so you DO get implied status and you can continue to work under the same conditions as yoru current PGWP." I then said "i read that the pgwp 'CANNOT BE EXTENDED'...so are you sure...

    INLAND APPLICATIONS 2013

its depressing... 19 months total time when you apply inland..... We wanted to go to Japan and Vegas next year..but now we dont want to run the risk of her leaving the country and not being allowed back in. Where in Canada is a good place to vacation to? I live in Vancouver..and no where...

    Inland application medical

This is a mistake that me and my girl made. We're living together in Canada now. She did the medical exam two weeks before we submit our app. 11 month wait....... I have no idea if they're going to ask for an updated medical exam... but if they do, she'll have to do it again and that means...

Anyone get AIP and final approval at the same time? (INLAND)

Ive read twice on here that someone got final approval the same time they got AIP...which means, that they only had to wait for the first stage approval ...and then WHAM PR is granted! How common is this? If you did get this special treatment, what was your situation? I'm thinking that if...

Post Graduate Work Permit - implied status or not?

I agree with above Screech: 'conditions' refer to where you work and the specific employer.... You've been a big help...but re-read the golden letter ! its saying exactly what the CIC agent said to me. I believe you are getting hung up on the word "extend" ....it's not extending the...
