It's been what, 2 months? 10 weeks since the files were transferred from Vegreville to Missisauga How has no one received AIP / DM ...or ANYTHING from the Mississauga office? Are they training the Mississauga employees on how to process this? i just dont get it... has anyone heard anything???

I would have included a letter in my original application detailed WHY I defaulted and explained the whole process. I would have also included proof that the payment was made and that there is no debt. I would have called the CIC once i received AOR and asked them to put a note on the file...

That's good news...it means that they were ACTUALLY in the process of reviewing AIP for applicants in early August?? The website says its working on apps rec'd June 25th... Website is always behind.. Lets hope that the current 'freeze' relating to the transfer from Vegreville to Mississauga...

Yeah you're right. I'm going to have her redo her medicals now... we dont worry so much about spending $, our main concern is timing since she's on a PGWP and it expires this November. Medicals are good for a year..if we submit them now, we'll be in the clear. Since they expire only 1 month...
