No, I don't think that is the case. CC are charged instantly with a machine, while DD is a cheque, so that will take a few days to clear. I think that is why CC applicants usually, hear from CIC a lot quicker than DD applicants.

I don't think CIC has a set schedule for the processing of medicals, but another forumite can correct me. CIC is currently charging CC for first week of november applicants now.

No they haven't started with November applicants just yet. In about 2 weeks, you should be smiling.

According to CIC that cap was filled on Nov 27, 2013. However, I think that CAP might have been reached sometime around the last week of August. I come to this conclusion based on a tracking spreadsheet from another thread. If you want more info, check out this thread...
