Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionaires, Experience, Preparations

It's pretty much the same for us too. I'm almost 11 years older than my wife. As mentioned my wife is an IDP in her country. She wasn't an IDP when we started talking, that happened during the development of our relationship. I chatted with my wife for almost six months before we met. For...

How much proof of communication should we bring to the interview?

Locally Engaged Staff are citizens of another country employed by the Canadian government to work in the VO. All the people I dealt with at Kyiv VO (I think, there's no way to be certain without asking) were Ukrainians. They all spoke English with a Ukrainian accent. I have seen jobs posted for...

How much proof of communication should we bring to the interview?

It's quite sad. You'd think they have some sort of global QA program. I'm sure every visa office gets some level of fraudulent applications but I find it hard to believe 30 to 40 percent higher at a couple of offices.

How much proof of communication should we bring to the interview?

Thanks again for your support flx2015. I truly do hope to be reunited with my family soon. As we all do, and I wish that for you too. As you probably guessed my wife is not on a student visa in Canada. I couldn't remember the full contents of the post, thanks for reminding me. I don't think of...

How much proof of communication should we bring to the interview?

I read somewhere on here that pictures from certain locations are discounted by Visa Officers, like from Niagara Falls or CN Tower, the obvious Canadian landmarks. My wife and daughter and I have some pictures like this, we went to both of these locations, but we have others too. I wanted my...

How much proof of communication should we bring to the interview?

We have a similar storyline and we got called for interview as well. My wife has visited Canada twice, she just returned home after being here for the summer. I believe we will have 150-200 pages of Skype conversations. In all we had over 16,000 messages in the 1.5 years that logs could be...

MARCH 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Hi door, I think I already answered the question you are asking, but i will try to put it all in one post. Im not comfortable to copy and paste the notice, but I am relating the important points. It asked my wife to bring her passport. It asked for proof of contact with me since the time we...

OLD IN PROCESS VS NEW IN PROCESS ON ECAS EXPLAINED

Yes, ours changed to DM on Sponsor Side and is still In Process on PA side on ECAS. I got notification of SA by mail in May. We were requested for an interview and it hasn't happened yet so I don't believe there is any change in our case.

Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionaires, Experience, Preparations

Hi Farhana! Thank you for your advice. I have the letter from the Pension Fund dated January 15, 2016, so it is well ahead of our interview at the end of September. In fact it was before we even applied for PR. I also have the letter from our work benefits provider with the card assigned to my...

That's odd, I just had to ask. Must be the insurance company. I have life insurance through the same company, through my work and someone from HR took care of everything for me. Thanks again IamABule.

Spousal Sponsorship Interview Questionaires, Experience, Preparations

We got a phone call to ask my wife if she could attend an interview about a month ahead of time. After she agreed, they sent the letter by email. Funny thing is the day before we got the call, I got an email from CPC Missisauga saying they forwarded to Kyiv VO my message to them regarding RPRF...

^^ All documents must be translated and notarized at the expense of the applicant. When it hits their desk it is in English and certified. I have doubts whether the person you mentioned is from a non visa exempt country as someone who actually is would know this. (Especially Former Soviet Union)...

Latest on the Changes on Canada Immigration plan this coming FALL

Thank you flx2015. We mentioned my wife's IDP status in our application, however I don't believe there is any special treatment for people who are IDP. As the war is only in Luhansk and Donetsk regions (my wife is from Donetsk) and the rest of Ukraine (where my wife is now living) is relatively...
