You are right. Infact, they should not do a BG check once they have enchased the RPRF DD which is suupose to the fee for permanent residency. I had also read somewhere on the CIC website that they do not give a negative descision once the RPRF DD is enchased. Though, I dont remember the link :(

Is it that you have not mentioned anything in the Surname field for your wife. If that is the case, NDVO has used her old surname. Check with the hospital staff if any modifications are required. Also, put a mail to NDVO informing them the discrepancy.
