If yours is a reissue passport, apply now itself. Because reissue passport cases takes time in getting the PCC. If it is a fresh passport, you will get on your scheduled date of appointment itself.

Thanks dhanoa9015 I was a bit worried with getting the passports back from NDVO. Blue Dart doesnt have that service whereas VFS provides that. But I think I will go with Blue Dart :)

even I am thinking of using the same. Hope the passports reach us back safely from NDVO with the maple leaf stamping :)

How many days does registered AD post of India Post take to provide the passports. If its too slow, I would go for VFS. Please suggest. :o :o
