I totally agree, it helps to know how the visa office is working, and I'm happy for everyone that gets closer to the end of their immigration process. Hoping I will be as well soon, in just over a week it's been a full year since IRCC got my application.

Yeah, I'm curious to see if they actually start answering some questions after 12 months, if it comes to that which I'm pretty certain it will at this point. Only 3 weeks until the 12 month mark...and no update at all for 10 months.

Yeah, only option in Sweden is Stockholm. Really expensive as well for what they do... I'm also from Gothenburg and went to Stockholm for my medical in February.

My account has said that since April I think. I have confirmed with IRCC that they don't need anything else though.

So, I still haven't had any updates on my application since February. Ordered GCMS notes in the end of September, nothing updated there since first week of April. Decided to try an ATIP request with CSIS to see if the hold up is there, got a reply from CSIS today...they have NO record at all...

Almost starting the 12th month of processing, no update at all since document request in February. Kind of wish that they sent my application to London which I thought they would instead of keeping it in Mississaga. I have to say that IRCC has the worst customer service ever...

Phoned the call centre today to see if I could get any sort of update, was actually able to get through and after almost an hour talk to an agent. To summarize...completetely useless, once again. Right now I think 12 months will pass without further updates, then it will be interesting to see if...

No problem at all in lining up a job. However, in any way actually starting to work before legally being allowed to would be a big no no.

Today it is exactly nine months since the last contact I had from Mississauga...wonder how much longer it will be complete silence.

Oh yes, several times. Pretty much useless every time, 'You're within normal processing time' and 'sometimes they don't update the file even though they work on it'. Personally, I think 12 months will pass since they received the application without more updates, and then they will actually...

Yup. As per Sep 20th it looks like nothing has happened with my file since first week of April when they 'received' the documents I sent in February. Security, criminality, eligibility all say 'Not started'. Wish I knew what is going on...

Swedish applicant here, app held in Mississauga since January. No updates at all from Miss since document request in February.

Don't worry to much. I uploaded documents and passed my medical in February. ECAS still application received and medial results received, with no other updates.

It seems to be a bit all over the place with Mississauga at the moment. Some April and May applicants seem to be processed already. Others, myself included, are still waiting since the beginning of 2017.
