Sharing our experience re dependents, refusal, rehabilitation etc.

PREGNANCY At this point I was very pregnant, with our daughter. It was almost 2 years waiting, and I told the officer that I strongly desired to give birth in Canada, with my husband and our son by my side. He actually advised me to go ahead and wait for my husband there. I couldn't do that...

Sharing our experience re dependents, refusal, rehabilitation etc.

Hi everyone, I've been checking this forum on and off since 2012, so I thought it was time to give back. Especially now that we await the final stages of a fresh pr application for my husband. If he's refused again, I probably won't feel like writing all this. So now is the time. And hopefully...

    ****APRIL 2018***** OUTLAND SPOUSAL SPONSORSHIP

Woohoo, so that's a big hurdle passed! I provided as much proof as I could, but wasn't sure if it was enough. They haven't asked for any extra proof, so I guess that means they're satisfied with that aspect of the application! Phew!

Hi again, one more question. :) Does that mean they're also satisfied that I the sponsor will move back to Canada, and can support my family? I was worried about that, since I haven't lived in Canada for many, many years (although I've wanted to go back for a long time now).

No, ecas says "in process." If you've received pre-arrival and it says DM, that's a good sign! I know, the waiting really is too intense, lol.

London April applicant here, my husband. Just received pre-arrival letter, via gckey (and cic email telling me to look there). Guys, does this mean PPR will definitely follow, i.e. his visa is approved? I'm about to burst into tears of joy because his visa was refused a few years ago, but I'm...
