I would guess so too. I have tried multiple ways. I'm thinking that they have entered some info wrong in their system. It could be as simple as listing me as divorced or single. I have a dependent so I have tried 2 and 3. I have tried city and state of birth, just the city, just the state...

I tried linking again, still not able to do so. I will try again after AOR2.

I don't have an update on Ecas either. SA side says in process and PA side still shows received. I am going to try yet again to link my app on MyCIC later today. Maybe now that SA has been approved and they are transferring my app, it will find it.

The first time you enter Canada, you have to land at that location. If you need a connecting flight, you should give yourself plenty of time for the landing process in between flights.

This is not a major deal, but I was just curious if anyone might know... I filed to extend my visitor visa shortly after applying for my outland PR. The visitor extension is still "Open" with nothing else happening with it. If I get approved for PR before they start processing it, can I ask...

Finally... I just got off the phone with CIC, they approved sponsorship the end of last week. No specific date given, but.... YAY!!! The correspondence must have been a mistake update on Ecas. File will be transferred to Ottawa. I can breathe easier now. :D

Since they accepted your application as complete, only send in the updated form if they ask for it. If there was a problem, they would have sent the entire application back. No worries. :)

Linking the application doesn't have anything to do with ordering the notes on your case. It is slightly better. You get an e-mail when your status has changed whereas with Ecas, you don't. It updates a couple of days sooner than with Ecas. And it shows approval or not instead of just saying...

Depends on the VO. From what I've read, some don't even send one. But, it should be by e-mail if that is how you marked that you wanted to be contacted. Check the various spreadsheets or the thread for your VO for an idea.

I have the same thing on the Sponsor side. Sent correspondence on Aug. 5th. I still haven't received anything. I sent a case specific enquiry on the 12th. I called on the 15th. They said they would send a note to the case worker to resend. Still nothing. If you have had this happen, how...

Simply put...yes to all of your questions. If they need anything else, they will let you know.

Congratulations to those of you who have seen movement today. :) The only correspondence that I received today was an automated letter regarding not being able to link my app to MyCIC. I will check snail mail later and probably call them again on Monday. Oh, and I still can't link. lol

I haven't received it either. Thanks for the info, though. They didn't tell me that when I called. The wondering what it could be is frustrating. How are you holding up?
