    Well I have to go to the embassy soon anyways to get some unrelated stuff legalized. So if the letter dosen´t come by the next time I go to Mexico City I will ask for the PGR letter while I am there.

    ok so I am thinking about getting all the documents together for requesting the PGR, then going to the embassy and asking for the letter requesting the PGR from them, and then taking that all over to the PGR on the same day. Is that possible? or do I have to wait for the letter in the mail?

    If you can, I would send them in all together. That way it is less likely that something gets misplaced!

    Hi margarita esperanza! How long did it take you to get the letter for the PGR once they sent the AOR? I have been waiting for it to come in the mail since they sent it on April 9th!

    yeah, I think so! This is what it says: ¨You will be notified of the appointment for your interview, if required, approximately one month prior to the date of the interview, and you will be provided with further instructions at that time.¨ So I´m thinking if they don´t require an interview...

    I´m not sure about how you know if it´s waived...but on my AOR it says they notify you a month before the interview.

    Yes we got AOR by email on April 9th and it said they were sending a letter by regular mail on that same day, with the PGR instructions. Still waiting to get the letter...It´s been 9 business days so we will wait some more.

    Hi! I also got the AOR about a week ago, and haven´t gotten the letter yet! It hink they mail it through regular mail so you should get it soon! There was some confuison a while back about the precartilla and the cartilla...But now it has been confirmed that they will accept the precartilla!

    just do the birth certificate, marriage certificate and state police report through a certified translator! That´s what I did and it was fine! For the rest I just translated myself and sent the spanish and english versions.

    I just brought it to a certified translator and it was fine. I didn´t get it notarize or bring it to a consulate or anything.
